of our founder, Dr. K.S. Jeyarani Kamaraj. Dr. Jeyarani Kamaraj is renowned as a top IVF
specialist in Chennai. Her extensive expertise and impressive track record
make her a trusted expert in the field of reproductive medicine. Dr. K.S. Jeyarani Kamaraj,
a highly qualified and dedicated medical professional, holds degrees in MD, DGO, Dip.
Reprod. Med., and FICOG. Currently serving as the President of the Southern India
Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (OGSSI) and the South Zone Coordinator at FOGSI
(Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India), she is also the
Associate Secretary for the World Association for Sexual Health. With her FOGSI
Membership Number being 30490085, Dr. Kamaraj actively contributes as a committed
member of FOGSI's Sexual Health Committee for the past 10 years.

FERTICON, a series of impactful symposiums, has been a beacon in the field of reproductive medicine.
With editions in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015, it has consistently contributed to the discourse on
reproductive health. In continuation of this legacy, FERTICON returned in 2017 and again in 2019 with
"The International Symposium on Reproductive Medicine." This significant event took place from July 4th
to July 6th, 2019, at Hotel Green Park Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, organized by Aakash Fertility Centre
and Hospital.
This comprehensive initiative included 15 exhibitions in Sexual Medicine for the public,

Shows & Radio Talks were employed to create awareness about the scientific basis of sexual life among
the public.
Acknowledging the importance of education, symposiums were organized specifically for
students. Five such symposiums were conducted for the students of the University of Madras on Sexual
Health Day, observed on September 4th. Beyond educational efforts, the event extended its impact through
Human Chain programs, Signature Campaigns, and Walkathons, contributing to creating awareness about
Sexual Rights.

Egg Retrieval
Egg retrieval is a minor surgical procedure performed under sedation. Our skilled team
ensures your comfort and safety. Retrieved eggs are then combined with sperm in the
laboratory.
Fertilization and Embryo Culture
Fertilization takes place in our state-of-the-art laboratory, closely
monitored by our embryologists. Embryos are cultured and nurtured for several days.
Embryo Transfer
Selected embryos are transferred to the uterus, typically on day 3 or 5
after retrieval.
This is a gentle and painless procedure that doesn't require anesthesia.
Pregnancy Test
Approximately 10-14 days after the embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is
